Nairobi Pastor, MCA, MP and Four Police Officers Linked to Gaza Gang

A Nairobi pastor has been linked to the deadly Gaza gang that has been terrorising residents of Nairobi's Kayole estate in the past few year.

According to sources, the pastor who is said to be an accomplice of the gang has been bribing four police officers  – a Chief Inspector, a senior sergeant, a sergeant and a police constable to give information on crackdowns.

A report by the Standard reveals that the pastor and the officers have been colluding with a Member of Parliament (MP) and a MCA to allegedly tamper with efforts to clear the brutal gang from the estate.

The four police officers were reportedly allocated land in Kayole’s Portmore area in Matopeni, to enable the gang to operate without interference.

Sources further claimed that at one point, the MCA gave the gang leaders Sh100,000 to relocate after the pastor gave him information on an impending police raid.

He is also said to have bought guns for the gangsters shortly before an incident in which a police officer was killed.

The same MCA, as per the report, is accused of paying Sh500,000 to the Chief Inspector to use the gang to intimidate his political rivals.

The police boss is said to have held several meetings with the pastor and the MCA to leak information on police operations.

Gaza has been described as one of the most feared gangs in the City and has been blamed for violent muggings and killing of police officers.
