Nakuru Jubilee Politicians Engage Each Other in Violent Fights

The struggle to get the Jubilee ticket has seen supporters of President Uhuru Kenyatta in Nakuru County engage each other in bloody fights.

On Thursday, Biashara Ward aspirant Hezron Manyara was left with a head injury, and a broken rib after he was assaulted by suspected supporters of Kenyatta’s campaign official in the Rift Valley region Susan Kihika.

Kihika is also the Nakuru speaker and is seeking the Senate’s position.

The youthful politician has put together a formidable campaign team across the county, including the #Team 100% and #Team Mama, which residents have claimed are made up of supporters who are over-zealous in their handling of rival camps.

Manyara’s bloody assault occured just a few days after a similar clash occurred between supporters of Nakuru Town East MP David Gikaria and a rival camp.

The MP’s driver was left with serious head injuries and was rushed to Kijabe Hospital where he is still admitted.

Kihika has since denied any links to the gangs that have been terrorising some of her opponents

"I conduct my campaign without any form of violence and those who support me know that. I want to clarify that what happened at the nightclub had nothing to do with Susan Kihika but personal differences between people," she clarified.
