ODM's Mbadi and Gumbo Clash Over Family 'Insults'

ODM Chairman John Mbadi has accused Rarieda Member of Parliament Nicolas Gumbo of insulting him and his wife.

Speaking Friday in a radio talk show, Mbadi said that Gumbo insulted him because he attended a Siaya County address by Governor Cornel Rasanga.

“He insulted my family. He abused my wife who hails from his Constituency that she is not blessed with children, he is lucky his wife has got children. That’s alright,” Mbadi was quoted by the Star.

The ODM Chairman added that he loved his wife, even if she had no children.

Mbadi reportedly refused to accept Gumbo's apology, saying the insults were personal and had created a difference between them.

It is reported that Gumbo apologised to all leaders he may have offended in the year 2015, urging that they should move on united.
