Police in Masinga, Machakos County are investigating a case in which a pastor is alleged to have been cohabiting with a 17 year old girl.
The standard eight pupil from a primary school in Ekalakala Village was supposed to report to school last week but she never showed up, Citizen Tv reports.
The parents reported her missing and investigations by police officers led to her discovery in the pastors house.
The parents reported that they had been hosting the pastor for over six months, after which he tried sleeping with the minor, forcing them to throw him out.
Residents claim that the pastor had earlier been involved in another scandal, following the closure of his church after he was found praying for women while they were naked.
The pastor was arrested and is waiting to be arraigned in court, once investigations are complete.
