A female politician, who is set to be Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Peter Kenneth's running mate, has threatened to strip naked alongside other women.
Mrs Linnet Miherance, who was unveiled as Kenneth's possible running mate on Wednesday, indicated that she would strongly protest any attempt to short-change her in her bid.
“I’m not fighting with anyone over this, if someone tries to step on me, we women shall strip naked,” she emphasised.
Miherance has been a die-hard and vocal supporter of Kenneth during his rounds to popularising his candidature for the City top job under the Jubilee Party.
She has previously served as a councillor for Lavington and also the chair of the United Republican Party (URP) Nairobi branch.
According to Reuters, Miherance had served as Non-Executive Director of NBK since March 27, 2015.
She had over 7 years’ experience in the Political and Civil Society having worked with institutions like Constitution Reform Education Consortium (CRECO) and the Bureau of Development Services.
She also extensively participated in the development, design, management and implementation of various programs in areas of good governance, human rights, democracy, gender, and HIV/AIDs related issues.
