Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho finally met President Uhuru Kenyatta for the first time since the President began his Coast tour.
On Saturday Joho accompanied Kenyatta at the launch of the Port Reitz/Moi International Airport access road in Mombasa.
“The road will go along way in decongesting the vehicular traffic and spurring economic growth of Mombasa.” Joho said.
The Governor had initially bashed President Kenyatta for ignoring him and other Coast leaders, after they were left out of crucial functions held in the county.
