A group of lawyers on Wednesday afternoon caused a commotion when they flocked the office of Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet.
Clad in suits and purple ribbons, the attorneys pitched camp outside Jogoo House in Nairobi demanding to know the whereabouts of their colleague who reportedly went missing last week.
Chanting slogans of bado mapambano (the struggle continues), the lawyers demonstrated in numbers claiming that their counterpart had been abducted by the police while returning from Mavoko Law Courts.
The lawyer, Mr Willie Kimani and his client Eric Mwendwa are said to have disappeared moments after suing a police officer for attempted murder.
