PHOTOS: See What Uhuru Did in India that Mugabe 'Refused'

President Uhuru Kenyatta arrived in India on Tuesday, for the third India-Africa Forum Summit themed “Partners in Progress” aimed at creating a strategic cooperation between the two continents.

The Summit was however not all business as Heads of States and other diplomats donned shewarni attires, which are long traditional indian coats, as they headed for a dinner hosted by India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Mr Kenyatta was well groomed in an earthy brown sherwani outfit with black shoes but failed to complete the look with a turban like most of his colleagues.

Despite the effort by all African Leaders to adopt the tradition of their host country, Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe, decided to retain his usual two-piece suit making him very conspicuous.

In his trip to India, Mr Kenyatta has been keen to embrace the Indian culture as he was seen on Wednesday gladly participating in a red-dot tradition upon arrival in New Delhi.
