A Police Constable has killed himself after injuring a bar owner over Sh430 bill in Nakuru County.
Isaac Wanjala, an officer from Elburgon Police station had failed to clear his bill which prompted the bar owner, Sammy Osoro, to confiscate his phone.
The officer went to his house and came back with a G3 rifle which he used to shoot Osoro before killing himself.
Mr Osoro sustained serious injuries in the incident. He was taken to Elburgon hospital before being transferred to Nakuru Provincial Hospital.
Nakuru County Commander Hassan Barua, Molo Divisional Criminal Investigation Officer (DCIO) Judy Kinara and Officer Commanding Police Division (OCPD) Daniel Kimanzi launched investigations into the matter.
Wanjala's body was taken to the Molo hospital morgue.
