This Pollster Shows What Kenyans Think of Kenyatta's Leadership

A new poll has revealed that a majority of Kenyans believe President Uhuru Kenyatta to be a good and competent leader.

The poll released on Wednesday by Strategic Africa, a research firm, shows that 84.8 per cent of Kenyans have confidence in Kenyatta's leadership.

Out of the 84.8 per cent, 40.8 per cent of the interviewees were very confident while 44 per cent were somewhat confident in the President’s leadership.

78.3 per cent of Kenyans think the country is headed in the right direction.

19.2 per cent did not agree while 2.5 per cent of the respondents did not know.

The poll also reveals that a majority of Kenyans were impressed with how Kenyatta handled the visit by US President Barrack Obama.

On a scale of 1 to 10, a high percentage gave him a 10, 9 or 8.

On the issue of corruption, 71.3 per cent of Kenyans felt that President Kenyatta’s handling of the vice was above par (Fair, Good and Very Good).

The research carried out between August 5th and 8th this year gave the Jubilee government a high score in fostering national unity.

The reesearcg used a sample size of 2004 people from 31 counties in the country.
