Raila Finally Reveals Source in NYS, Eurobond Scandals

Opposition leader Raila Odinga has finally revealed how he learns about corruption scandals in the Jubilee Government way before they become public.

Odinga said during the Opposition's state of the nation address, that he has contact persons in the government.

"I have been in this government therefore I have my contacts and I get information, so whenever I blow the whistle I have properly investigated and know exactly what has transpired," he said.

The CORD leader recollected that when he first raised the red flag over loss of millions at the National Youth Service, those linked to the scam claimed to have been whistle blowers.

Odinga cracked up his audience at the Laico Regency, Nairobi, when he said, " at first the excuse was that these were whistle blowers. I said no, a Whistle blower can also be a thief".

At the NYS, over Sh791 Million was reported to have been stolen through dubious procurement dealings by senior officers in the Devolution Ministry and the department.

After the unearting of the multimillion scandal, the Opposition Chief unveiled to the public that more than Sh100 Billion in Eurobond funds could not be accounted for by the jubilee government.

The supposed Eurobond scandal has remained a puzzle as government maintains that all proceeds from the fund were channeled to different development projects.
