Opposition chief Raila Odinga has termed the World Bank's projection of Kenya's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth as 'shameful'.
According to the World Bank, Kenya's projected GDP had decelerated to 5.5 percent, a 0.5 percentage drop from last year.
The former Prime Minister took to his twitter account to state that the world bank report was "Shameful. We must do better next year."

The world bank indicated that Kenya is currently facing “headwinds that are likely to dampen GDP growth in 2017,"
Mr Odinga further criticised the government and urged the nation to restore their lost glory.
In a region experiencing 2+ civil wars, we must become a nation that is compared to the BEST in the world, we must restore our glory https://t.co/q9M1WnpayU
