Raila's National Super Alliance (NASA) is a Tribal Outfit - Uhuru Tells Kenyans

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Thursday told Kenyans to dismiss the proposed Nation Super Alliance (NASA) being championed by ODM leader Raila Odinga and Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi terming it a tribal outfit with no agenda for the country.

Speaking during the reopening of Pan Paper Mills (now Rai Paper), Kenyatta told the Opposition to show Kenyans what they would do if they were elected to power.

“I tell our opponents to go slow and let us people compete on ideas and policies instead of tribalism. The politics of tribalism are no longer viable in modern Kenya. What they only know is to abuse me and my government and incite Kenyans to violence,” the Head of State affirmed

The President urged elected leaders to work and collaborate with the government to accelerate development for the benefit of the residents.

“I want to thank Members of Parliament who – unlike others – are mature and are working with the Government in supporting development in the region. These are leaders who have put the interests of the electorate above their own,” the President stated.

The Head of State issued 2000 title deeds in Webuye and said the re-opening of the Pan Paper Mill would provide about 1000 jobs to its people.

Meanwhile, Odinga, Mudavadi, Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang'ula are among the leaders who are expected to form NASA which they believe will trounce President Kenyatta in the 2017 Elections.

The Opposition has insisted that the Jubilee administration should be sent home for overseeing massive looting of public funds during its regime.
