Residents of Kanu street in Nakuru County, on Sunday woke up to a bizarre incident in which a woman was killed and her body gruesomely mutilated.
The body which had been dumped on the street had the eyes gouged out, face skinned, and the private parts missing.
Locals who spoke to Citizen TV claimed that the woman was a sex worker.
The devastated residents further noted that the incident was the fourth killing of that kind in the area.
Three more young women are also alleged to have suffered the same fate, being killed and their bodies later dumped in public.
Police are yet to comment on the issue, even as suspicions abound of the possibility of a serial killer in the area.
