Sonko Rescue team is now a click away.
The team on Monday launched a 3.1MB cell phone application named Sonko Rescue Team.
The mobile app which is available for free on Google Play Store was developed to improve the group's service delivery.
Among the services that can be accessed through the application are; transport for weddings, ambulance, fire response, hearse, clean water and breakdown services.
The Sonko Rescue Team App provides contacts that would help City dwellers receive their services even when one runs out of internet data bundles.
The Sonko Rescue Team is an initiative by Nairobi Senator Mike Mbuvi Sonko to deliver various free services in Nairobi.
However, critics say that the initiative is a campaign strategy for the senator who has already announced in public his interest for the Governorship seat come next elections.
