Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko' s father has been admitted to the ICU at the Nairobi Hospital.
The Senator took to facebook on Friday, asking for prayers for his ailing father.
However in the post, Sonko did not reveal what his father was suffering from.
He asked God to heal his father just like he had healed baby Satrin, baby Scandy Chelangat, Mariam and millions of patients with serious complications.
"GOD heal my Dad and all the patients admitted in different hospitals countrywide in the mighty name of JESUS," he wrote.
Sonko has made headlines in the past when he personally helped out individuals, as well as through his initiative, the Sonko Rescue Team.
He took in baby Satrin Osinya after he was shot in church during a terror attack in Likoni, helped pay his medical bills and gave his father a job.
The Senator also paid for baby Scandy Chelangat to get surgery at Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute to remove a tumour in her eye.
In previous posts he said that Chelagat was recovering well.
