Baringo assembly speaker William Kamket’s car was set on fire at a garage in Marigat town.
The garage owner says the incident happened on Thursday morning after the car was brought in for servicing.
Officers on patrol managed to put out the fire, but did not catch the arsonists.
Police have launched investigations into the incident and are looking for the arsonists believed to have also set fire on Ripko-Kositei MCA Daniel Tuwit's car two weeks ago.
The speaker, Tuwit and Silale MCA Nelson Lotela have an ongoing court case where they are accused of inciting communities leading to violence in the region.
