  • 7:47 pm Siaya Governor James Orengo has condemned plans to charge activist Boniface Mwangi with terrorism, describing the move as ridiculous, arguing that it is illogical to bring such charges against an activist.
  • 7:01 pm KAA has confirmed that the fire alarm system at JKIA's Terminal 1C was activated at 2:55pm prompting a response from the airport's Fire and Rescue team. However, repeat activations forced temporary closure of the terminal for further investigation.
  • 6:45 pm Kenyans planning to travel to the United States in the coming weeks may need to dig deeper into their pockets following the introduction of a new visa charge set at a minimum of $250 (approximately Ksh32,500).
