Kenyans on social media were on Tuesday engaging in various debates among them a survey report that showed the popularity of Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho, Kiambu's William Kabogo and Dr Alfred Mutua of Machakos.

This topic was trending after research firm TIFA (Trends and Insights For Africa) released an opinion poll indicating who are the most popular aspirants in the Governorship contests in Kiambu, Mombasa and Machakos.
The poll, which triggered varied reactions on social media, showed that incumbent the Governors were leading in all their respective counties.

This trend was initiated by supporters of the National Super Alliance (NASA) to express support for Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho who has been in a prolonged tussle with the President.
A section of online users claimed that the Jubilee government was doing everything to ensure Joho fails politically. On the other hand, Jubilee supporters accused Joho of disrespecting the Head of State.
Under the hashtag #WaterSourcesKe online users expressed their concerns over the ongoing water crisis across the country.
Reports indicate that 6 in every10 Kenyans are unhappy with the delivery of water services by the government.
