Uhuru Criticizes Raila-Mudavadi NASA Deal During Tour in Nandi, Rift Valley

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Wednesday told ODM leader Raila Odinga that they would defeat the Opposition even if they formed NASA- the National Super Alliance.

Speaking in Nandi, Kenyatta said that NASA was a selfish alliance meant to distribute positions among the Opposition leaders.

“I hear some of them want to take my job. Others have already been promised the Deputy President and Prime Minister’s positions, amongst others. This is their main agenda. They really do not have the interests of the public at heart,” Kenyatta stated.

The Head of State added: "Let them go on with their plans. We will face them in 2017. Kenyans are with us. They are happy with our work”.

The President and his deputy William Ruto launched road construction projects worth over Sh10 Billion in Nandi and Uasin Gishu Counties.

Kenyatta's claims came a few days after Odinga on Tuesday announced that they would form a super alliance with ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi in February, which according to them will send the Jubilee administration home.

On Thursday, Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka and Odinga met to discuss more about the coalition and how positions will be distributed among themselves as more leaders join them.
