Journalist Jeff Koinange was Wednesday evening surprised during his live show, Jeff Koinange Live, when friends and collegues brought him a cake and sang him birthday songs as he turned 50.
Media personalities including NTV's Larry Madowo and Comedian Jalang'o joined the impromptu celebration leaving Mr Koinange perplexed for the last few minutes of the show.
As if the surprise was not enough, Kempinksi Hotel Management awarded him with a 2-night getaway at Olare Mara Kempinki Hotel, at Masaai Mara. Mr Koinange broke into dance and expressed his appreciation for the utter surprise.
CORD leader Raila Odinga was also surprised by Members of Parliament and staff members at his upper hill offices on Wednesday morning.
“Pleasantly surprised on my birthday by Members of Parliament and my staff earlier today in my office,” read his Facebook Post.
