Residents of a village in Turkana Central are seen in a video watching in shock, as a lorry crossing an unmarked bridge is swept away and completely submerged into swollen river.
The video shows two vehicles with children hanging on the rear, successfully drive through the waters but as the third truck attempts to accelerate, strong waves push it off the road.
The lorry is seen losing control as it is swept by raging waters of River Kawalase, prompting a boy clinging on the carrier to jump off the truck before sinking.
Onlookers can be heard screaming as the truck gradually sinks into the deluge. It is not known whether the occupants of the truck survived the horrific occurence.
In mid November, River Kawalase broke its banks leaving passengers stranded.
El Nino`rains have subsided in most parts of the country but other regions continue to feel the its effects.
