It is highly presumed that TV Journalists are serious and collected persons as they present news and what they do while off air remains unknown to many in the audience.
Usually, the audience doesn't get to see these comic moments by newscasters and reporters as they seldom appear on air.
In a video posted online, NTV Swahili news readers Jane Ngoiri and Nimrod Taabu are seen sharing a light moment shortly before going on air at 7pm.
Ms Ngoiri urges his colleague to pose for a selfie so she can upload it on Instagram but Mr Taabu seemingly looks distracted.
However, he heeds to her request and the two pose for the photo with bright smiles as Mr Taabu dares her to post it on social media unaware that they are being recorded.
Ms Ngoiri is then seen getting busy on her phone probably uploading the photo online, while her co-host complains of excessive heat in the studio.
