Police are investigating a gang that has allegedly been robbing customers in Nairobi restaurants after a video was aired on NTV showing two women stealing from foreign guests.
According to the footage captured by CCTV cameras, two ladies are seen following two foreigners into a hotel and take seats next to the unsuspecting men.
One of the ladies carry an open hand-bag while the other closely follows her mark.
The ladies then wait for the guests to leave their seats to make their lunch orders after which one hurriedly picks a bag belonging to one of the guests and throws it into the open hand-bag.
They hurriedly walk out without raising any alarm leaving the men surprised after missing the stolen bag.
The foreigners were supposedly delegates attending the recently concluded World Trade Organization (WTO) meeting which took place earlier in the month.
In that single incident, the thugs are said to have made away with two mobile phones, a tablet and other gadgets of unknown value.
According to police, the ladies could be part of a gang which follow high profile guests from airports and hotels and later on rob them in a well executed plan.
