When Pope Francis was en route to Nairobi, Kenya, a Journalist aboard “Shepherd One” asked the Holy Father whether he was worried about his safety, since he was travelling to a region where Christians were targets of terrorist attacks.
In response, Pope Francis noted that the only thing that he was worried about was attack from mosquitoes.

“There are good and bad people. To tell you the truth, the only thing I’m worried about are mosquitoes.” Capital Quotes the Pontiff.
While taking his seat after greeting all Journalists in the Plane, Pope Francis let out a joke: “I hope you carried your mosquito repellents!”
The Vatican Head of State firmly stated that he was coming to “Africa in Joy.”

The Papal plane touched down at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi at around 4.30pm, where he was received by President Uhuru Kenyatta, before proceeding to State House.
