Zipporah Kittony Supports NASA Ideas, Says She Was Representing Mzee Daniel arap Moi

A close ally and family friend to former President Daniel Arap Moi has now claimed that the elderly statesman is in support of the National Super Alliance (NASA) that has been formed by top Opposition politicians.

The surprise declaration was made by KANU Nominated Senator Zipporah Kittony, who represented Mzee Moi during the burial of Vihiga Senator George Khaniri's mother.

At the burial, Kittony stated that KANU was ready and willing to work with NASA to dislodge Jubilee from power in the upcoming August 8 election.

“Nasa leaders should dialogue and give us only one person. The presidential seat is only one and can be held by just one person at a time. If you dialogue and agree, you will win. If you don’t agree, you will have yourselves to blame,” the KANU senator stated.

Kittony has previously been very critical of statements made by her party's Secretary General Nick Salat that appeared to suggest KANU was in NASA.

Salat, who accompanied Kittony at the Vihiga burial, stated that KANU chairman Gideon Moi was also supportive of the NASA agenda.

“Before I came here I talked to my chairman (Baringo Senator Gideon Moi) and asked him what I would say. I have always said Kanu is in NASA,” Salat told the mourners.
