Maina Kageni Condom Discussion Ruined Me - Nancy Baraza

Former Deputy Chief Justice Nancy Baraza has accused Classic 105 Presenter Maina Kageni of starting malicious discussions on his popular morning show, which interferred with investigations against her.

In a television interview on Sunday, Baraza said discussions about her were shaped by Kageni whom she claimed kick started a conversation that she had gone to a pharmacy to purchase condoms and a vibrator.

"I hear people listen to something called Maina Kageni, I listen to BBC. I was told much later that his listeners were enjoying and laughing during the discourse ," Baraza alleged.

The former Judiciary boss blamed the alleged discussion by the renown radio host, saying that when she appeared before the Judicial Service Commission (JSC), some members were skeptical that she had only gone to a pharmacy to buy medicine for her child.

However, on Monday morning Maina Kageni refuted Baraza's claims, saying he had never discussed her in his show. The radio host said that he was ready to meet with her over a cup of coffee and get to the root bottom of the claims.

Baraza resigned from being the Deputy CJ in 2012, after she was accused of threatening a female security guard at Village Market, where she had reportedly gone to buy medicine at Bella Dona Pharmacy in New year's day.

According to her victim, Rebecca Kerubo, Ms Baraza refused to go through security checks and instead, pinched her nose before pointing a gun at her.

During the probe against Ms Baraza's conduct,  Kerubo, a mother of three, claimed that the former Deputy CJ told her: "You should know people."

Baraza denied the claims but agreed that a confrontation did take place, which she described as 'unfortunate' and also denied being in possession of a gun.
