Makau Mutua 3 Things That Scare Miguna Miguna

Law lecturer Prof. Makau Mutua has taken a swipe at Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Miguna Miguna in his latest opinion piece.

In the publication titled: Miguna Miguna's personal demons come out to haunt him, Prof. Mutua highlights three things that he alleges scares Mr Miguna out of his wits.

"I have concluded that there are three things that truly terrify Mr Miguna – women, ODM's Raila Odinga and white people," the US-based professor opines.

Mutua mentions that the latest vile altercation between Miguna and his rival Esther Passaris was a sure proof of his own stand on Miguna's character.

"His now infamous encounter with politician Esther Passaris on the defunct Jeff Koinange Live was the textbook definition of the complex of inferiority. The man – or perhaps more accurately the little boy in the man – lost it," Mutua stated.

The lawyer added that when Miguna attacked Passaris on the basis of her complexion, it outwardly displayed his silent insecurities.

"I will tell you why Mr Miguna is terrified by white people. In his assault on Ms Passaris, he incredibly told her she would be 'ugly' were she not a light-skinned black woman. By that statement, Mr Miguna was telling us that light skin is more beautiful than superior to dark skin."

He inferred that: "Mr Miguna himself is a very dark-skinned black man. By his own logic, he deems himself ugly inferior and subhuman to white people or light-skinned blacks."

Mutua further mentioned that following his (Miguna's) book Peeling Back the Mask - which adversely targeted CORD leader Raila Odinga-Miguna proved that his former employer was also his greatest fear.

"In this book, I expose Raila as a selfish, confused, hypocritical and deceptive leader whose greed for power makes him unfit for the presidency of the republic of Kenya," Miguna says in his book.

From this analysis, Mutua concludes by noting that with such qualities, Miguna was not qualified to be Nairobi's Governor.

Miguna has been quite vocal when attacked over his character and conduct. He has consistently maintained that he is the only person capable of cleaning up Nairobi and getting rid of corruption cartels.
