Deputy President William Ruto on Wednesday celebrated his 50th birthday at State House, Nairobi.
While meeting Jubilee Members of Parliament to discuss the controversial amendment to the Electoral Laws, the DP cut a cake to mark his Jubilee year.
In a video shared by President Uhuru Kenyatta, MPs are seen singing for Mr Ruto birthday songs at the President's residence.
To celebrate his deputy Mr Kenyatta wrote: "Join me in wishing my brother, friend and able Deputy a happy 50th Birthday. May you ever remain "strong in will, to strive, to seek, to find and not to yield". God's blessings always!"
