Two people have been confirmed dead after a deadly gas explosion in Mukuru Slums, Nairobi.
The two, a man aged 27 and his two-year-old son, died while sleeping after a fire burnt their house in the Wednesday night ordeal.
The mother survived as she was not present during the incident
More than 30 houses were destroyed and over 40 families displaced after their houses caught fire and burned down.
Police confirmed the incident stating the fire was caused by a gas cylinder which exploded in one of the affected houses.
