A video of President Uhuru Kenyatta blasting DP William Ruto has surfaced.
In the video, a visibly angry Kenyatta said Kenyans should address their grievances concerning poor roads to Ruto.
"Hii kijana anaitwa Ruto kila wikendi anatangatanga kila pahali. Atakuwa anapitia hizi machorochoro. Mkiona kuna kitu inaenda konakona mmwambie.
"Tuhakikishe kazi ya wananchi imefanyika. Tuwache siasa tufanye kazi.

(This young man called Ruto moves around every weekend traversing the country. He will be passing through these roads. If you see something is not being done right you should tell him.
(We should make sure the citizens are served. Let us stop politicking and get down to work)" he remarked.
Reports indicate that the video was recorded during the President's tour of Eastlands area where he had earlier issued title deeds and later commissioned the construction of roads.
“We are working with the county government in ensuring that the state of roads has improved in the county.
"The national government has provided Ksh4 billion to supplement the county’s budget on the repairs,” he noted.
Kenyatta also warned contractors against doing shoddy work on the repairs citing that the government will be keenly inspecting their progress.
The President's promise came only moments after Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko accused the former county government of misappropriating funds.
Sonko alleged that Ksh3.2 billion allocated to roads repair in the financial year 2016/2017 was shared amongst County officials.
