NTV News Anchor Dennis Okari Preaches at Church in Nairobi

NTV investigative journalist Dennis Okari on Friday night sailed further into his spiritual life preaching at a church in Nairobi.

The news anchor says preaching is a heavenly calling and that he is quite passionate about the ministry.

Okari was on Friday night, a guest pastor during an all-night prayer gathering hosted by Pastor Moses Sempele at Christ House Church.

He announced that he was to minister at the church through his Instagram account expressing his anxiety as he waited to see what the heavenly had planned for his new life.

In recent days, the award-winning investigative journalist has been generous with inspirational content as a motivational writer an speaker.

He opened up about the ups and downs that he confronted in life narrating how he meditated on committing suicide on two occasions.

During an interview with Truth FM, Okari recounted tribulations that pushed him towards nearly taking his own life.

"I know people don't know this, but I have tried to take my life twice. The first time I wanted to crash my car on a huge rock on my way from work. Miraculously, as I drove from work on that material night, I just could not trace the boulder, it had always been there, but I couldn't trace it," he narrated.

He disclosed that over the last two years, God had used him to perform miracles, including instant healing during his ministry across the country.

He believes that his pastoral role was bred when he was born again in high school but he missed steps in the salvation journey at some point when he was fighting the calling of God.

As a youth pastor today, Okari confides that what he is doing is living the God-given assignment.
