DCI Arrests 2 Women Accused of Drugging and Robbing Men in Clubs

The office of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has arrested two women accused of drugging and then robbing revellers in entertainment joints.

Taking to social media, DCI revealed that the two, Mary Nyaguthii Mathari and Mary Nyamwea Gathiaka, lured their unsuspecting victims and drugged them.

They were arrested in Thika and found with several tablets of Stilnox Drugs which are usually meant to stupefy.

They were also found in possession of several SIM cards registered with different names.

The SIM cards were believed to have been used to withdraw money from the victim’s bank accounts.

Detectives working on intelligence today arrested two ladies; Mary Nyaguthii Mathari and Mary Nyamwea Gathiaka in Thika for drugging unsuspecting victims before robbing them off.

Several Tablets of Stilnox Drugs used to stupefy people in clubs & several SIM cards recovered,” read the tweet.

Earlier, the detectives, through intelligence, also raided a house recovering 981KGs of bang worth more than Kshs20 Million in the process.

The house belonged to Mr Jesse Koome, who was arrested together with a partner Fredrick Kanake.

The four are set to appear in court on Monday.
