DP William Ruto Gives Isaac Ruto New Job After Reconciling

Deputy President William Ruto has given his longtime political nemesis and former Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto a new job.

The DP made the revelation on Sunday after the two appeared together for a church service and fundraiser at the Africa Gospel Church Siongiroi, Chepalungu, Bomet County.

"I wish to tell you that Isaac will be engaged in regional and national politics and development as Bomet Governor Dr Joyce Laboso engages in local issues.

"From now on, we will be sending him out to various regions in the country on development issues," the DP revealed.

The former Bomet Governor noted that his appointment has been a result of discussions with the DP since the year begun.

"I have been engaged in talks with the DP for a good part of this year focusing on resolving national and regional issues affecting the people," he stated.

Affirming the newly found friendship, DP Ruto noted that he has held a series of meetings with Isaac and reconciled their differences.

"You must know that we are age mates and we have covered so much ground together.

"We have differed previously, reconciled when I was in KANU and he bolted out to NARC in the 2002 election," the DP added.

On his part, Isaac, who is also the Chama Cha Mashinani Party leader, indicated that he would work with leaders who are after transforming Kenya.
