Anne Kiguta Joins K24 TV

Popular TV station K24 is reportedly set to unveil Anne Kiguta as the newest member of its new-look team.

Sources from the MediaMax-owned station revealed that the highly acclaimed 'queen of politics' would be hosting her own show every Sunday evening.

The new show is set to be centered on politics-both local and international, the sources revealed.

Speaking exclusively to Kenyans.co.ke, the audibly excited anchor revealed that she was looking forward to the new chapter in her illustrious career.

"I don’t have much to say right now other than how pleased I am to partner with K24 and MediaMax as a whole. As you know my forte is politics so I’m looking forward to doing what I love," Ms Kiguta disclosed.

She quit Citizen TV close to six months ago prompting numerous speculations as to what her next move would be, having formed the core of elite news anchors who raised the bar and arguably made the TV industry what it is today.

Her highly anticipated show was set to premiere on April 26, 2019, but has since been moved to an unconfirmed date by the company's chairman according to insider sources.

Ms Kiguta, while speaking to Kenyans.co.ke, assured her fans that the show is definitely one to look out for.

"By God’s grace, I’ve always made the right move in television and been privileged to work with the best in the industry. Also as you know I don’t frequently hop from station to station. So when I do move it’s not for nothing - it’s substantial," she affirmed.

Adding that she was excited about the new challenge at K24 TV.

"I’m excited about the strategic vision of K24 and the fresh, innovative thinking around programming and news content," she disclosed.

The K24 studios located along Kijabe street have been undergoing a major facelift in a bid to give the entire station a fresh new look.

They have been planning for a relaunch thus explaining their massive recruitment of a set of top anchors, having already snatched up Betty Kyalo from Standard Media Group, Fred Indimuli from Citizen TV and Rose Gakuo who was a journalist at KBC.
