Citizen TV's power couple, Rashid Abdalla and Lulu Hassan, have always left fans awed by their unending chemistry.
On Tuesday, in a post seen by Kenyans.co.ke, Lulu took to her social media penning a heartfelt message to her other half.
"Thank you for always being my rainbow after a storm, 10 years strong," stated the message.
The couple, which has three lovely children, two boys, and one girl, marked their 10-year wedding anniversary together.
The Citizen tv Nipashe partners met back when they were working at Radio Salaam in Mombasa, several years back, at the start of the careers.
However, that was long before the two fell in love and got married in 2007 in a colourful Islamic wedding.
The lovely TV couple has been anchoring news together since August 2018, after Rashid left NTV to join his wife at the Royal Media Services TV station, following the exit of State House Spokesperson Kanze Dena.
At the time, the two made history in Kenya for being the first couple paired to anchor news.
The two soulmates have consistently shared romantic messages to each other with the latest being a recent poll by Kenyans.co.ke of the Top 100 journalists, through the eyes of their colleagues.
Lulu, who was at number six, closely followed by Rashid at position eight, stated that his husband is “bright, fun and considerate. He is very bright in terms of current affairs, especially when it comes to breaking news.”
“He challenges me in ad-libbing to be better than him. He is also considerate as he knows what his team players can and cannot handle. He has a friendly demeanour, that everyone at the studio enjoys working with him. He is also very cheeky,” she added.
The two have also left other couples green with envy when they match their outfits during most of their news bulletins.
On Father's day, Lulu also took to social media to celebrate the love of her life in a heartwarming video message that left Kenyans in awe.
