These latest arrests come barely 2 weeks since Arthur Gakuya, a police officer from Vigilance House, reportedly lost more than Ksh 450,000 to two women, Peninah Afandi and Everlyne Asendi, who allegedly spiked his drink.

Officer Gakuya was then forced to give up his two ATM cards and their PIN numbers, with the ladies going on to purchase high-end electronics and other household items.

Detectives reportedly recovered the entire loot from the women’s homes in Kayole and Umoja.
