Injury That Killed Cohen Revealed

Dutch tycoon Tob Cohen died after sustaining a blow inflicted by a blunt object on the right side of his head. Autopsy results that came out on Friday 3 October revealed. 

Detectives drawn from the DCI discovered Tob Cohen's body in a septic tank at his Kitisuru home close to two months after the Dutch billionaire went missing. 

The postmortem report added that the body found was of a caucasian male preserved through refrigeration. It further stated that the body was in black, yellow and red polythene bags.

Ten samples from the septic tank where the body was found were collected by pathologists for investigation. 

Parts of the body had already decomposed. The eyes were blindfolded and hands and feet were bound to the neck using a rope, the report confirmed.

His hands were also fractured. The body was reported to have had multiple rib injuries and bruises on the diaphragm.

Five pathologists who conducted the tests used finger and toenail DNA samples for the postmortem examination.

They also used twigs and vegetation found embedded in the body. Tob Cohen was buried on September 24, 2019, at a Jewish Cemetery in Nairobi. 

Cohen's widow, Sarah Wairimu was charged with the murder of the Dutch businessman. 

The case on the murder of Tob Cohen is a publicized court case that is ongoing.
