On Saturday, November 23, a legislator solemnized his marriage with his long-time girlfriend in Migori.
Kuria West MP Mathias Robi made his marriage to long-time girlfriend Catherine Robi official with a glamorous ceremony.
The couple who have children together declared their vows at Mabera Catholic Parish, Kuria West and was presided over by Father Jacob Ombinja.
The MP acknowledged his wife for showing patience and also supporting him in his endeavours.
"Thank you for staying with me and being the mother of my children. I also thank my parents, in-laws, for supporting our union through the years," he stated.
On her part, Catherine expressed her gratitude for the day when the two finally said their vows.
"I've always wanted to get married. I love you and there are many men who don't know how to love, for that, I'm grateful," she stated.
She also acknowledged the priest for presiding over the ceremony as well as their guests who travelled over long distances
Catherine also thanked her parents for raising her to be patient and also passing on the knowledge to keep her husband happy.
