She is the Managing Editor at Citizen TV. She previously managed the Programming and Content Development division at Nation Media Group and also served as News Editor, News Anchor/Reporter at NTV.
Also served as Managing Editor QTV Kenya in 2015.
Jamila graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Media Studies at the University of Nairobi (UoN)
She also holds a Master’s degree in International Conflict Management from the UoN.
The anchor is a TV pundit who speaks against the ills and the society and plays the watchdog role against the government.
She is part of a pundit group at Citizen TV, co-hosting the News Gang show aired on Thursdays.
