PSIP is a government initiative to offer opportunities to graduates to acquire and develop technical and professional skills as well as work experience in the Public Service.

Selected interns will work in various government ministries, departments, and agencies.

Among the requirements for one to qualify, they must hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

They must also have graduated not earlier than the year 2015. This means that any individual who graduated before 2015 will be automatically disqualified.

Applicants are also expected to be proficient in computer skills and should be energetic and eager to handle new projects.

Successful candidates will perform mutually agreed upon duties including those assigned by the supervisors and document relevant skills acquired.

In addition, they are expected to actively participate in any relevant mentorship activities and additional responsibilities designed for the programme.

Applicants who will secure the internship will be given a monthly stipend at a rate to be determined by the PSC. Upon completion of the programme, interns will be awarded a certificate.

In addition, they will stand a chance of being absorbed into the various departments of the government.

Applications should be made online through the commissions job portal accessible through www.publicservice.go.ke or www.psckjobs.go.ke by August 20, 2021.
