President Uhuru Kenyatta on Tuesday, September 13, stepped out of the State House for the final time to head to Kasarani stadium ahead of the inauguration ceremony.
This marked Uhuru's final hours as president before handing over the instruments of power to William Ruto. Flanked by the First Lady, Margaret Kenyatta, the two bid farewell to the staff before proceeding to the motorcade. In particular, the duo got in a Mercedes Benz S 600 Pullman Guard, trailed by the convoy.
The German machine is praised for its high ballistic protection level that is second to none. Among the powerful politicians who own the model include Russia's Vladimir Putin and North-Korea's Kim Jong Un.
