Alexandra Ndolo

Although born in Germany, Alexandra Ndolo switched allegiances in 2022 to represent Kenya in fencing.

In 2024, she qualified as Kenya's sole fencer for the Paris Olympics.

Born to a Polish mother and a Kenyan father, the 38-year-old is the co-founder and board member of the Kenya Fencing Federation.

She has been instrumental in establishing fencing schools in Nairobi and facilitating fencing scholarship programmes for Kenyan fencers in South Africa.

While she did not secure gold at the Olympics, her participation put Kenya on the global stage in fencing.

Before representing Kenya, Ndolo competed for Germany from 2013 to 2017, winning silver at the 2017 European Fencing Championship in Tbilisi, Georgia, and bronze at the 2019 championship in Germany.
