He is a technology leader and youth-empowerment advocate who serves as Site Director at Zone01, a coding and tech-training hub based in Kisumu that aims to equip the youth with software-development skills.
Zone01 Kisumu operates in partnership with organisations such as Lake Hub, 01 Talent Africa, the local County Government of Kisumu, and international bodies – firms that work to bridge the digital divide not only in Kenya but across the continent.
Besides training youth and women in software development, Nyoiro’s firm also offers job placement for the successful trainees.
In May this year, he was recognised for his outstanding contributions to the IT sector at the prestigious Kenya CIO 200 Summit 2025, held at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Nairobi Arboretum.
Hosted by the Global CIO Forum, the event brought together top decision-makers, IT professionals, and innovators committed to accelerating digital transformation across Kenya and the broader African continent.
