
She currently serves as the Attorney General of Kenya following her appointment to office by President William Ruto in September 2024.
Previously, Dorcas served as the Secretary of Public Prosecutions at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP).
She has also worked as Assisting Counsel to the Kiruki Commission on the Artur Brothers, Joint Secretary of the Police Reform Commission, and Chairperson of the Board of Criminal Psychiatrists in the country.
Oduor is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Law from the University of Nairobi, as well as a Master of Arts in International Conflict Management from the same university.
