Dr. Paulyne Wairimu

Dr. Paulyne Wairimu is a Kenyan doctor with an outstanding global footprint and notable contributions to healthcare initiatives.

Her work has gained global recognition as espoused by her 2022 Outstanding Leadership Award.

Wairimu emerged as the winner from a pool of 2,000 health global applicants. 

The doctor currently serves as the Medical Devices and Diagnostics Lead at the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.

She is also the chair of the African Medical Devices Forum (AMDF) - a forum under the African Medicine Regulatory Harmonization Initiative within the African Union (AU).

The doctor also represented Kenya at the World Health Assembly which is the highest decision-making body in health in Geneva, Switzerland.

She holds an Executive Course on Global Health Diplomacy and a Master's in advanced studies at the Geneva Graduate Institute.
