Eric Ngige

Eric Ngige is a renowned Kenyan esports gamer.

The 23-year-old is Kenya’s Fifa 23 esports champion and is nicknamed 'Demon' owing to his technical ability on the pad. Ngige is described as a rising star by Esports enthusiasts. 

Not only has he emerged as one of the best locally, he has represented Kenya continentally and in global competitions.

For instance, he hoisted Kenya’s flag in the African gamrX Championships in Nigeria and the E-Ligue 1 Tour finals.

At the Nigerian tournament, Kenya’s Fifa 23 esports champion emerged as runners-up after Senegalese player Dexx Junior.

At the Paris tournament, he emerged 7th in the showpiece event that pitted the very best players from across the globe against each other.

With his star rising, he is projected to win titles at the global stage having started the 2023/2024 season on a strong footing. For instance, he secured victory at the Maison Des Mondes tournament in Paris, France in October 2023.

Away from the screen, Ngige is a student at KCA University, balancing his schoolwork and esports career.

He plays in the evening after school on weekdays and on weekends.

His goal is to compete at the FIFA Global Series (FGS) and also qualify for the eWorld Cup.
