Geoffrey Mosiria

Geoffrey Mosiria is Nairobi County’s newly appointed Chief Officer for Citizen Engagement and Customer Service, although a large chunk of his achievements came when he was in the environment docket.  

Mosiria has gone beyond his role to evolve into somewhat of a social commentator on fundamental issues affecting Nairobi residents. 

Mosiria has overseen wholesome changes in the Nairobi CBD, including clearing hawkers from the main streets to backlanes. Besides that, the county official also oversaw the installation of modern bis in key areas within the city centre. 

In March, Mosiria was honoured with the coveted award for the best Chief Officer in Kenya for his work. 

His ammo mainly entails using his social media platform to highlight some of the vices in the city and emphasise civic responsibility. 

Mosiria has also earned plaudits on social media thanks to the empathy he displays whenever he is on the streets. 

In 2025 alone, he has rescued several street individuals, including a destitute man who was living in a makeshift structure near the Railways Gold club. 

Another famous incident saw Mosiria rescue a man who was living in a tree along Jogoo Road. Mosiria revealed that he rehabilitated the individual and helped him secure employment.
