Joshua Chepkwony alias CK Joshua is the founder of Kass Media Group, which runs Kass Television and Radio.
CK also owns Jamii Telecommunications, which offers Faiba services. Apart from telecommunications, he also owns Eldoret-based Jamii Millings, a major player in the cereals milling industry.
Joshua Chepkwony launched Kass Media Group in 2005, before going ahead to launch Faiba networks in 2016.
He is also a realtor, with a multi-billion project of luxury villas, a golf course, a hotel, a private hospital, an airstrip, and a shopping mall all lying on 3,100 acres of land at Sergoit, on the outskirts of Eldoret town.
The business mogul is currently one of the few people with unfettered access to President William Ruto.
Chepkwony started out in business as a chicken and goat seller.
He is on record stating that he used to buy and resell cattle for profit.
Most of Chepkwony’s wealth was accumulated from the "simu ya jamii" telecommunications business which established his presence in the communications industry.
