Kanyi was named among six African TikTokers to watch in 2025 and rightfully so, since his content simplifies technology to the point of reaching audiences who did not even know they'd be interested in tech trends.
Thanks to his tech journalism, Kanyi earned a selection among an elite group of media and tech leaders invited to Accra, Ghana, for a high-level Google AI Roundtable and field visit.
